Having Fun With Picasa!

Sibling Love
I remember very distinctly thinking that we were somehow going to scar Abby for life by having another baby. She had been our "one and only" for over two years and I wasn't sure how she would react to having to share our love and attention. While it isn't always lollipops and roses around here, I can already see that we didn't take anything away from Abby...we gave her the best gift that we could give her, a sibling!! Nothing gives me greater joy than watching the two of them giggle and play together. I hope they only grow closer with time. We love our children so much and feel blessed to be their earthly parents!!

Little Landon

I cannot even begin to describe what a joy Landon is in our lives. He is so much fun to have as a member of our little family and we love him so much. We get comments all the time on what a good baby he is and we feel very lucky to have him. He is just so mellow and chill, going with the flow no matter what circumstances he may find himself in. We could not have asked for a better baby and Jason and I often comment on what a perfect little guy he is. It is difficult to imagine our lives before Landon entered in and changed everything forever. We adore our little man and can't wait to see what his future holds. We love you little Landon!!

Landon had a few pieces of wisdom that he'd like to pass on to all of you as well...

Home for the Holidays -- Part 3

Okay, okay...I promise that this is the last holiday post I will share with you all. I just loved these pictures of the kids on Christmas day though, so I hope you enjoy them too!!
And this is why I love my new camera so much. My old camera was just too slow to capture all of the adorable faces and expressions that my kids give me without turning blurry. (This picture was taken on Christmas Eve and was by far the best of about 20 different blurry pictures...)
This picture was taken on Christmas Day with my new camera. Just so crisp and clear. I loooove it!!

Home for the Holidays -- Part 2

Here is a glimpse into what life was like on Christmas Day in the Call home...

Abby was very excited on Christmas morning and eagerly got to work putting on Sleeping Beauty's high heels. (She also excitedly exclaimed during the rest of the day that "I'm going to get some pink high heels too when I get older!")
Landon was more like "Huh???" (He didn't quite get all the hoopla!)

Abby was very eager to start opening her many presents (and was somewhat distraught when it was anybody else's turn....good thing she had about 10 times more presents than the rest of us combined!)

Landon did discover one good thing about Christmas....yummy wrapping paper!!

Abby opening up more presents...

Landon eating more wrapping paper...

Abby enjoying more of her Christmas presents (a girl's gotta have red lip! Shhhh, don't tell her it's plastic!)...

Landon eating more wrapping paper...

Abby enjoying even more Christmas presents...

Landon eating more wrapping paper...

Okay, okay you get the idea of how different Christmas is for an almost 3-year-old and a 6-month old. We had a great time watching them enjoy their presents (and their fascination with what the presents were wrapped in!)

Abby showing Landon how cool one of his new toys is!!

Both kids excited about Christmas at home this year...

The Aftermath!!!

The "Real Aftermath" (a.k.a "Miss Diva")

And no worries for those of you who can't seem to get enough of "Christmas at the Calls"...Home for the Holidays -- Part 3 will be arriving shortly!!!
