7 months old!

This adorable little guy turned 7 months old on June 30th!! He is such a delight and we just love him, especially those squishy thighs!!

The biggest change during this last month is how much food he is eating and loving. He is a great eater and loves to eat almost anything we put in front of him. He gets quite upset if you dare to eat anything without sharing it with him! He is also sitting up all on his own now and will get up on all fours in preparation for crawling. Hudson is growing up so fast and while we love to see all these fun changes, we also wish he would stay small for just a little longer!

Girl's Camp 2019

Abby was so excited about attending Girl's Camp this year which was held on June 25-29. She invited her good friend Montana to go with her and they both had a wonderful time!

The theme was "Be still and know that I am God." I helped transport the girls up to camp and we were greeted by this fun sight in the pavilion! 

Sister Fischel was the Stake Camp Director and she did an amazing job!

There were some exercise classes in the mornings including this hula lesson...

They all enjoyed giving and getting gifts from their Secret Sisters!

I went up on Wednesday evening for Ward Night. We had healthy treats and a spa station set up for all those sweaty, dirty girls!

They did their traditional 5-mile hike to a fun lake!

They made lots of crafts...

Including some nice portraits of Jesus Christ for all the Bishops in the Stake!

They ended their wonderful week with a campfire testimony meeting which was the spiritual highlight of the week!

Another great year of Girl's Camp for this fun group of girls!

Nolan's Pool Party

We had Nolan's birthday party on Saturday, June 29th at Northwood Pool. Unfortunately most of his school friends that we had invited were unable to make it but we still had fun with the Ladners, the Maynes, and Bridger!

We swam in the pool for a while until a storm rolled through. It was perfect timing to play our water games though! We had lots of fun with wet sponges, water balloons, and water guns!

Then it was time to eat some of Nolan's favorite foods including brownies, Pringles, Airheads and strawberries!! Hudson obviously loved the strawberries!!

The weather then cleared and we basically had the pool to ourselves for the last 30 minutes of his party. It was a perfect way to celebrate our new 8-year-old!

Nolan is 8!!

Nolan was so excited about his 8th birthday on Friday, June 28th. We opened up his presents before Jason went to work that day because he had to spend the evening at a church event.

Nolan made a list on Amazon of his most wanted birthday presents and was very pleased to see that we fulfilled most of his wish list!!

He spent the rest of the day playing with all of his new toys and games. We spent the evening at the pool with Chick-Fil-A for dinner (minus Abby and Jason who were both up at Girl's Camp.)

Nolan is a fun little guy who definitely looks more like a 6-year-old than an 8-year old. He packs quite a punch in that little boy though! He loves lots of snuggles, soft blankets, playing in the dirt, swimming in the deep end, and anything to do with the outdoors. He is pretty excited about being baptized in a few weeks. He definitely keeps us on our toes with his endless questions about all sorts of subjects!

Fairview Art & Science Camp

Landon had the amazing opportunity to go back to Fairview Outdoor School on June 17-19, this time for Art & Science Camp. He was there from 9-3 each day and loved learning all about science and incorporating that knowledge into some fun art projects. It was also fun for him to be with so many of his friends from school again!!

On the last day we got to come and see all of their amazing work from the week!

Landon seemed to enjoy showing us all of his creations...

It was a fun way to begin the first full week of summer!

City Champions!!

After winning the Federal League Championship this season, Alsatia played for the City Championship against West End on Monday, June 17th. It was a hard fought game but in the end Alsatia came out on top, winning 3-2!!

The Herald Mail captured this awesome picture of Landon making a pretty great catch at 2nd base!!

Hagerstown City Champions 2019!!

It was the third year in a row that Federal Little League has won the City Championship but the first time for Team Alsatia!!

It was a very excited group of boys and coaches that night who had a perfect ending to a great season of baseball!!

The front page of the Sports section the next day had this great picture and story!!
