Back to School Father's Blessings

School will be looking a bit different this year since everyone will be starting online, but we still did Father's blessings on Sunday, August 30th.

First there was this little guy who will be very confused once school starts and everyone is at home but can't play with him all the time like he is used to!!

Maylie will be starting Kindergarten. It's not how we thought the start of her school experience would look, but she is a trooper and so very excited to begin her school adventure! Her teacher will be Mrs. Jamison.

Nolan will be going into 4th grade with Ms. Townsend. I can't believe he is nearing the end of his elementary school experience!

Landon will be going into 7th grade at Western Heights Middle School. He is already in the Magnet Academic program there but will be auditioning to do the Magnet Chorus program as well. I think he is the most excited for online school!

And Abby will be starting high school!!!! She will be a freshman at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts with a Musical Theater emphasis. She will also be starting seminary!! She is excited and nervous and I can't believe we have a high- schooler in the house now!

Here's to a great 2020-2021 school year!! 

Dress Up

Hudson absolutely loves shoes! Whether they are his own or someones else's, it really doesn't matter. We got a kick out of his outfit on this particular Sunday...tie, ball in hand, and PINK high heels!

The kids enjoy dressing Hudson up too. Abby came up with this little creating from a red scarf, belt and some fancy black high heels!

Then the other kids didn't want to be outdone so Nolan came up with this ensemble...

And Maylie posing in her very best way!

 

More Greenbrier Fun

With so many restrictions still in place due to Covid-19, Greenbrier has been such a blessing for us this summer. We go at least twice a week with our cousins and have enjoyed it so much. On this day the boys created a pretty epic sandcastle!
