Spring Project

Jason took last Friday off from work and finally put some of his power tools to good use. The house next door to us is being built so there has been a lot of leftover wood that the builders just throw in their trash bin. Jason has gone dumpster diving several times in order to stockpile some of this wood and we decided to build some permanent food storage shelves in the crawl space of our basement.

I think they turned out great and now we are anxious to fill them all up. Jason enoyed doing this project so much and can't wait to get started on his next one...whatever that may be!!

That is awesome! We need shelves like that in our garage. Great work Jason! And especially nice work getting the wood for free!

What a clever place to put food storage. I wish our crawl space looked so nice and clean. I might use it for storage and free up some walking space, ha!

Wow, I am very impressed. We have thought about doing something like that in our crawl space. Do you have a door or something to yours or is it just the size of a window? I went and looked at ours this week and have thought of different ideas. I love that you got all of this wood free. What a great resource and he has done an amazing job!
