Plarning Activity

I have really enjoyed working with the Young Women in our ward during these last two years. It is especially fun having Abby in there with me!

On Wednesday, November 7th the Relief Society presidency came in to show us how to make "plarn" or how to turn plastic bags into a sort of yarn that is then crocheted together to make sleeping mats and blankets for the homeless. The sleeping mats are very warm and durable and make a great gift for those in need during this holiday season. The girls and leaders all enjoyed working on this project together and even Nolan and Maylie had fun during our "plarning" activity!
