Disney World Day 2 - Animal Kingdom

Our second day was spent at Animal Kingdom. We started off our morning with riding Kilimanjaro Safaris, one of my favorite rides! We saw lots of great wildlife and gave our walking feet a chance to rest a bit! We explored the Gorilla Trail and other places around Africa before our lunch reservations at Tusker House with Mickey and Friends!

Hudson was so in love with all the characters and wasn't scared of them at all!

After lunch we met up with Rebecca and Dani, some friends from Hagerstown who had moved to Orlando last year. We watched Festival of the Lion King together then had to take cover during a small rainstorm for a bit. After things cleared up, we took turns riding Kali River Rapids, got dinner at Flametree BBQ, and then headed over to the Land of Pandora. This land was incredible and all new to us since our last visit. Dani and Rebecca were able to get us on "Flights of Passage" with their disability pass and it was amazing (although a bit nauseating for me as well!)

We took a final picture with our whole group from that day in front of the Tree of Life before parting ways.

Rebecca and Dani headed home while we got our seats for the Rivers of Light show. It was so fun!

We got back to our hotel late that night completely exhausted but still excited for the next day!
