After watching his two older siblings participate in this race for the last five years, Nolan was very excited to get his first chance at the WCPS Elementary school cross country race. It was held on Saturday, October 5th which was our first truly chilly day of Fall so far!
Here he is all pumped and ready to go :)
The 3rd grade boys race started around 9:30 and had over 130 participants. That is a lot of 8-year-old boys!!
Nolan ran the whole way and did his very best!
He ran so hard near the end that he was able pass around 20 other runners just in the final stretch of the race!
He finished the race and excitedly proclaimed that he wants so do some more racing! So glad it was a good experience for him!
