Abby's Birthday #2
We had a great time celebrating Abby's birthday together as a family. After Jason came home from work, we had her put on this little headband that said "Birthday Princess" and she wore it for the rest of the night. I really thought it would only last for a couple of pictures, but she loved it and didn't want to take it off.

Then we had her open up her gifts which she loved doing. She got a new tricycle, a Little People doll house, some clothes, a play phone and some cards/giftcards. I think you will probably be able to tell from the video, but her favorite gift was a singing "Barney." She is really into Barney lately (we have Gold's Gym to thank for that one) but it really is quite cute to listen to her sing "The Barney Song." The only bad/good thing is that Barney really isn't that popular anymore so we had a tough time finding anything Barney related but we were lucky and found this little Barney doll at Toys 'R Us and it has become the new "gotta have it" toy around our house since she opened it up.

Super cute. Happy 2 Abby! I love her singing the Barney song. That song sticks with you. Honestly, I can't even remember what song the tune really goes with. Glad you're blogging again, btw.
Those are cute pictures. She really does love to sing, and does a great job! I am sure Jason and you will get sick of the Barney toy long before Abby does, but she sure looks like she enjoys it so I am glad you found it for her.
Happy Birthday, Abby! She is looking so much older these days. I love low key birthdays. I also love that she kept her cute little birthday headband on the whole time. Too cute!
I laughed when you said the chuck e. cheese food was disgusting. Last night we were out with friends and he said their pizza was his favorite. Isn't that gross???
I'm loving the pigtails, and I have to agree with Marisa that she is looking a lot older!
I love her singing to the Barney song. And that's so cute she wanted to keep the headband on the whole time. And I agree about Chuck E. Cheese. I don't have very distinguishable tastes, but even I think that their pizza tastes like cardboard with a little cheese on top.
i love her little headband! she is such a cute girl.
