Every year Jason's work puts on a really nice party for all the employees and their children. This year included making Santa hats and ornaments, watching "Polar Express" while munching on some Christmas treats, balloon animals, and visits with a few characters from the North Pole!!

Abby loved giving a little squeeze to Frosty while Landon literally ran in the opposite direction! We had gone to the tree lighting the previous night in City Park and Landon had no problem giving hugs to the HUGE Chick-Fil-A cow that was there. We thought maybe his fear of big stuffed people/animals was over, but alas it is not!!
Abby was very excited to see Santa Claus and tell him all about her three wishes for Christmas...a Princess Tiana dress, a Play-Doh Ice Cream Maker, and a cash register! (After receiving toy catalog after toy catalog this year and hearing about the thousands of things Abby would like for Christmas, I finally had the "brilliant" idea of limiting her requests to just three items. She picked her three items rather quickly and has stuck with them for the last 6 weeks or so. This will definitely help to relieve Santa and Mrs. Claus' pocketbook this year!)
Landon on the other hand, was not such a fan of the big red man. He tried to run away from this photo-op too, but we being the mean parents that we are, forced him into the picture that we will all treasure for years to come!!
Abby and Landon both loved these balloon dogs on leashes though. And due to their extreme care and diligence, they lasted all of about 10 minutes once we got home!
