Last Saturday night we attended a "Night in Bethlehem" put on by the church down the street from our house. This is the same church that put on the fun Family Fall festival in September and the "Trunk-or-Treat" in October that we've attended. Jason is starting to get worried that I'm going to convert to this church, but I'm just all about the free, fun and wholesome family entertainment!!
Anyway, back to the activity at hand...it was a really nice journey through "Bethlehem" where we "saw" the prophet Isaiah prophesy about the coming the Lord to the earth, the angel appearing to the Virgin Mary, saw the shepherds being told by a chorus of angels about the birth of the baby Jesus, and finally the nativity scene where the wise men came bearing gifts.

Abby and Landon were enthralled with seeing it all play it out before their very eyes and it was a great way to kick off the Christmas holiday and be reminded of the true reason for the season!
