We have been living the vacation life for the last month so I have a bit of catching up to do. But first, few of our June activities before I get too far behind...
At the end of the June, our ward held its annual picnic at Pen Mar Park. We really love this park because it sits right on the Appalachian Trail and overlooks the beautiful Maryland countryside.
Of course as long as there is fun playground equipment, the kids will always love it!

I am surprised you didn't get rained out with everything we have had on the east coast.
I read a book by Bill Bryson called "A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail" and it's made me want to walk portions of the trail. It looks like a great park.
