Somehow our little Maylie girl is now two years old. She is so full of spunk and brings a lot of joy and craziness into our lives. We can't imagine our family without her!!
She woke up on Monday, October 3rd to some pretty fun presents waiting for her...
And she got right to work multitasking like a pro by sweeping the floor and pushing the stroller at the same time!
Later that afternoon when everyone was home from school and work, it was time for our little family birthday party. Maylie wasn't too interested in getting some photos of herself, but she obliged for a few seconds!
She was much more interested in opening some birthday presents however! She got right to work ripping those bad boys up!
She loved her new baby that had its very own pacifier (although she tends to steal it away from her baby on occasion!)
Her new board books have been a big hit as well!

She knew right what to do when the birthday cake was brought out...

And blow!!!
Then she got right to work gobbling up all the yummy goodness!
The next day I got a picture of her wearing her new outfit from Aunt Lara and her family. She wouldn't look at me for this picture, but preferred the "model" pose instead!
If I had to use one word to describe Maylie it would be "JOY"! Yes she makes messes all day long and causes lots of mischief. Yes she can't sit still, Yes she can't make it through Sacrament meeting without having to be taken out at some point. But man alive, she thoroughly loves life and expresses pure joy in how she lives it. We are so thankful to have been given her as a gift to our family.
