2022 WHMS Infusion Concert

Landon was able to be in his first and last Infusion concert on Friday, Febrary 25th and Saturday Febrary 26th. He was in several group numbers throughout the show and had a solo in the finale. He really enjoyed being a part of this amazing production and did such a great job!

Mr. Durica, his chorus teacher, has done an amazing job with both Abby and Landon. He will be the teacher he misses the most when we leaves middle school at the end of this year.

Abby's 16th Birthday!!

Somehow this sweet girl of our is now 16 years old!! Her birthday was on a Sunday so it was a pretty low-key day but I still think it was a good one for her. After church we opened up presents and then that evening we had the McClellans, Howells and Gunthers all over for games and treats.

Blowing out all 16 candles!!

The next day was President's Day and a day off from work and school. She chose to go ice skating as her birthday activity. Our whole family was able to go as well as her special "friend" Joey.

This was Hudson's first time. He lasted about 30 minutes and then was content with hanging out with me the rest of the time!

After ice skating we played for a bit at Fairground Park and then had a fun birthday dinner at J's Diner. It was a fun way to extend Abby's birthday celebration!

Abby is such joy to have in our home. She is a great student, very responsible, extraordinarily talented and loves the gospel and her Savior Jesus Christ. She sets such an amazing example to all of us and we hope she has an incredible year ahead. Happy Birthday Abby!!

Uncle Kelly's Funeral

My uncle Kelly passed away at the end of January and I was able to go his funeral on Friday, February 4th. It was a long day of flying with multiple layovers on Thursday and multiple cancelled flights on my return flight on Saturday/Sunday but I was grateful to be there to support all of my Summer cousins and my aunt Clarissa.

Lara was able to fly out for the funeral as well and it was fun to be together for a few days!

We couldn't believe the transformation of my cousins home. My cousin Kenny and his wife Johanna purchased the home a few years ago and have had it completely renovated. It looks amazing!

Here is the site for the new Grand Junction temple. They were doing some clearing of land and the groundbreaking for it will be in April. I'm so excited for this temple!

It was my first time to Grand Junction in five years and it was nice to visit "home" again. Grand Junction holds so many important memories for me and I will always be grateful for the good start it gave me in life!
