I had a sweet sister from our ward reach out to me a few weeks ago and offered to watch our three youngest children so that Jason and I could both go on the youth temple trip to Philadelphia on Friday, January 31st. It was such a neat opportunity for us to be there as Landon entered the temple for the first time as a new Deacon and watch Abby and Landon do baptism for some of our departed ancestors.
These youth are amazing...boarding the bus at 5:30 a.m. on a day off from school to drive 6 hours round trip to perform this wonderful service for their ancestors!
It was so very special to be there with our two oldest children. At one point Abby was in the baptismal font, Jason was performing the baptism and Landon and I were the witnesses. What an amazing feeling to be there all together!
