Outer Banks

It was a bit different this year as we left right on July 4th to start our Outer Banks vacation. Also after 9 years renting the same house, we decided to try a new house that was on the same street (Duck Landing) but was a bit nicer and closer to the beach to commemorate our 10th year at the Outer Banks. It was so nice and we have rented it again for next summer!

Of course we had to start our vacation by saying hello to the ocean again!

And we had some beautiful views of the Sound during our vacation!

Evenings at the beach are so nice and we had every cousin there with us for the whole week. The Cleveland grandkids are...

Chloe (23), Paige (18), Abby (15), Tyler (15), Coldon (13), Landon (13), Reygan (10), Nolan (10), Willow (7), Maylie (6), Hudson (2)

It's hard to believe there are now more adults/teens than little kids now!

We had some great sunny days spent at the beach. The first full day we enjoyed some great waves for bodysurfing.

We enjoyed several evenings browsing the shops on the boardwalk.

We also had to try out the new Crumbl cookie place. It did not disappoint!

We spent one rainy day at the aquarium on Roanoke Island. We haven't been in a few years so it was fun to explore it once again!

This little boy pretty much has everyone wrapped around his finger at the beach. He is the youngest cousin by quite a few years and loves to be the center of attention!

Best friend cousins!

One day the boy cousins decided to build their own sand lounge chairs. It was pretty hilarious!

Abby helped Maylie build her very own sand mermaid tail!

It was a week full of good food, good conversations, and wonderful memory making. Of course just like every year the week flew by way too fast. Fortunately we'll be back at Thanksgiving time for another week at one of our most favorite places!

See you later OBX!
