The Sunday after returning from Virginia, we decided we had better get to work on putting up our own Christmas tree. Abby and Landon were super excited about hanging up the ornaments. We let them hang all the ornaments, thinking that later we would redistribute them so that they weren't in just one big glob on the tree, but they're still hanging right where they put them!!
They did decide that the tree needed a few decorations a bit higher than 4 feet so out came their trusty little chairs to aid in the effort...
And then Jason added the finishing touch by placing the star on top!
Of course none of this would have been accomplished without the help from this tiny little foreman who watched and gurgled his approval from time to time!
(What...don't all good foremen think best with their fingers in their mouths?!?!)
We are loving this special time of year and trying to take advantage of all that it has to offer!
