On Wednesday, October 9th Maylie, Hudson and I got to go on a Preschool field trip to Stoner's Dairy Farm in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. We got to see (and smell) lots of dairy cows during our visit!
They learned all kinds of interesting tidbits about cows and how they raise them...
We even got to pet some of the calfs who had recently been born. In fact there was one calf that had just been born that morning!
Then we headed into the milking area where they showed us exactly how they milk every cow two times every day!
We took a short hayride over to a pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins and then finished out our morning with some playtime!
And a visit to the petting zoo area. Maylie really loved this huge rabbit!
So fun to spend some special time with my little girl and her preschool friends!
