Maylie had her preschool Walk-A-Thon on Friday, October 4th at Shalom Christian Academy. She was SOOOO excited about her walk-a-thon this year as she had a great time last year and even won a trophy for running/walking the most laps.
Here is her little Hollowell Growing Tree Preschool class right before the start...
She looked so cute running/walking around their 200 meter track. Every time she passed me she always had a big smile on her face!
Halfway through the race they took a little break to eat some orange slices...
Then she was off again to log some more laps!
When it was all over, she had 23 holes punched in her card which means she ran/walked almost 3 mile. Not too bad for our new 5-year-old!!
Afterwards she told me "It was fun, but exhausting!" She finished up with a snow cone treat before we headed back home to rest up before her birthday party that evening!
