On Saturday, October 2nd Nolan participated in the WCPS Elementary School Cross Country Meet held at Eastern Elementary. It has been two year since they've held this race so there was a lot of excitement on the big day! The 5th grade boys race started at 1 p.m. and they had over 120 participants in just that race.
Nolan ran hard and passed a lot of runners during the last half of the race. He ended up running the mile course in 8:38 which earned him 34th place. After being a bit worn out already from playing soccer that morning, he was pleased with his efforts!
