The many faces of Maylie Magoo!

I am pretty much obsessed with this little girl and her squishable chubby cheeks...

How could you not love this adorable little beauty?!?!?
Maylie Elizabeth was named after two very special women...both of her Grandmas. We took the first three letters of Jason's mom's name (Maylene) and combined it with the last three letters of my mom's  name (Julie) to form the name Maylie. Her name also means "beautiful" in Mandarin Chinese, which fits our little girl very well. Elizabeth is a family name on both sides but was named specifically after her great-great-great Grandmother Ann Elizabeth Webster who was a pioneer who traveled with the Martin Handcart Company across the plains into Salt Lake City. She gave birth to a baby girl while making that journey and her story gave me a lot of strength and courage during this pregnancy and enduring my own labor and delivery.

Our Maylie Elizabeth is a very special girl with a pretty special name to match!
