Right after the induction ceremony at WHMS, we headed over to Paramount Elementary where Landon was performing with all the 4th and 5th graders in a Veteran's Day concert. It was a great show and the kids did well singing some fun patriotic songs.
They finished out the night by singing "Seize the Day" from Newsies which is one of our favorites!
They also had a special guest speaker who had served in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII. He kind of rambled on for a while but his generation is rapidly dying off so it was a privilege to hear from him.
We are so thankful for our Veterans and all that they have done and continue to do to maintain our freedoms and keep us safe!
