Field Day

The day after Landon's birthday was Field Day at school. Usually this day is a pretty hot one but I think the high for that Friday was only around 65 degrees with a cloud cover. A pretty perfect day to spend outside in my opinion!

Jason and I were both able to volunteer at school that day. I took the morning session with Kindergarten-2nd graders while Jason took the afternoon with 3rd-5th grades. I got plenty of pictures of Landon enjoying all of the different activities.

Here is the wet sponge bucket fill-up game...

Landon wasn't too thrilled about the hand-holding involved in Duck, Duck, Goose!

He LOVED the sports obstacle course though (shoot a basket, hit a ball off a tee, score a soccer ball in the net). That one was right up his alley!

Here he is making a mad dash through the obstacle course that a 5th grade class set up!

The "Blazin' Boys" team for the race riddle course. Love the poses in this one!

Being the anchor for tug-of-war!

And how can you have Field Day without a giant rainbow parachute!?!?!

The activities in the gym were sponsored by a local Ski Resort and all the kids got to try their luck at some snowboarding drills!

He looks ready to hit the slopes now!!

Such a fun morning that I got to spend with my little man. Abby did the same activities in the afternoon with Jason but he didn't get a chance to take any pictures so you'll just have to imagine Abby doing all of these things too!!
